Johnna Kijowski, Attorney

Johnna received her Juris Doctor with a concentration in litigation from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2013. While attending Cooley, Johnna was an associate editor for the WMU Cooley Journal of Practical & Clinical Law. She also interned for a year with the Washtenaw County Prosecuting Attorney in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she was a legal clerk in the Appellate Division. There, Johnna conducted legal research and wrote appellate briefs for cases in the Washtenaw County Circuit Court, Michigan Court of Appeals, and the Michigan Supreme Court. Johnna is also a trained general civil mediator under MCR 2.411. Prior to joining Erskine Law, Johnna was the District Court Civil Mediation Coordinator for Oakland Mediation Center and was responsible for the management of all civil cases referred to mediation throughout various Oakland County district courts. Johnna also volunteers in the special education community, providing consultation and advocacy. Johnna has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from The Ohio State University and Multi-Age Art Education post-baccalaureate from Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio.
