A southeastern Michigan native, Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing from Michigan State University in 2012. In 2015, Chris graduated from Michigan State University College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor, cum laude. While in law school, Chris clerked for a Macomb County Circuit Court Judge, participated in the Alvin L. Storrs Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, taught First Amendment law in high school journalism classes, and worked for a general practice law firm. Prior to joining the Erskine Law in 2016, Chris worked as an attorney with the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
